News: Why You Should Get In Better Shape!

There are so many reasons to lose or maintain weight. But through all of this staying healthy should definitely be the key. It's not about getting from a 16 to a size 0...it's about eating healthier, and exercising. You don't have to be thin like the women on tv you can be your curvacious self, but when you get to the point where your weight has consumed you so bad you can't move across the room or do normal things for yourself; that's when you have a problem. This issue was brought to me because recently a woman killed her boyfriend because of her size. Don't believe me, read on for the story.

An Ohio woman was sentenced last week after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter for smothering the father of her three children by sitting on him. Mia Landingham pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter on Wednesday and was sentenced to three years probation and 100 hours of community service.


Landingham, who was believed to weigh over 300 pounds at the time of the Aug. 2009 incident, sat on Mikal Middleton-Bey as he was face first on the couch.


According to her lawyer, there was a history of domestic abuse between Landingham and her boyfriend.


Investigators say the victim was 5′10″ tall and weighed 126 pounds. Andingham is 5′9″ tall.
A police scale that went up to 350 pounds wasn’t enough to accurately weigh the Cleveland woman.

This is sad news, and I can't believe they couldn't determine her weight because she was too big. Sad story indeed! I dare you to take the challenge and get healthier this year...SERIOUSLY!
