East Cleveland Mayor Eric Brewer will admit tonight on a syndicated TV show that he was the man dressed in women's clothing and lingerie in the racy photos that many say derailed his chance at re-election last month, the show said in a release.
CBS.com said in e-mails that Brewer will appear on Inside Edition and discuss the photos.
"That is me in those pictures." Brewer said, according to a transcript of the interview. He said he put on the women's clothes at the suggestion of a girlfriend, according to the program that airs at 7:30 p.m. on WOIO Channel 19.
An interviewer told Brewer, "No offense, but you weren't the best-looking woman."
Brewer said: "To the lady I was with, I looked great. We had a good time."
Brewer has called for a criminal investigation of how the photos were leaked. In the past few weeks, he has criticized the fact that the photos were released but has not admitted that he is the person in them.
A call to East Cleveland City Hall was not returned this morning.
Okay, I have to say what WOMAN wants her man to dress up like a woman? Maybe this "WOMAN" he's referring to is actually a drag-queen or transsexual cause I just can't see that. As for him looking for justice to find out who leaked them...he probably will never get that. Hell, if this was just between him and his lady friend then wouldn't she have been the one to leak them? Which doesn't make his story plausable and pretty much confirms he dressed in drag for other men. Womp Womp! Peep the photos below!
